St Patty's Day Recipe
☘️ Wishing you a pot of gold this St. Patrick's Day 🌈
This week, I’ll be cooking some of my favorite St. Patty’s Day dishes (if they actually represent Irish cuisine is a discussion for a different day 😉). I have always loved celebrating St. Patty’s Day…a table filled with Corned Beef, Cabbage, Carrots, Potatoes and yummy Irish Soda Bread to soak up the juices. So here’s some ideas for your weekly family dinners featuring some Irish-American classics… read on for the recipe share too!
No St. Patty’s Day meal is complete without a side of delicious Irish Soda Bread. Over the years, I’ve cooked more St. Patty’s Day dinners than I can count clovers. I found most of the soda bread recipes were very dense. My recipe is more of a scone consistency and adding a butter-beer glaze on top adds a lovely crunch to each bite. “Expecto Patronum”
Chef Tip - Use Currants instead of Raisins (or mix together) to up your flavor game.
